Juliet Barker -
Proprietor

Juliet has been in canine
rehabilitation for over twentyyears, spending six years as Rehabilitation Centre Manager for
the infamous ‘Supervet
Vet’,Professor Noel Fitzpatrick. She began working
alongside Noel and his veterinary teams in 2000 when her dog needed major orthopaedic surgery
and many months of intensive rehabilitation.
Recognising the need for a specialist home boarding facility Juliet went on to
set up Pets from Vets in 2004 - a home from home dog boarding and pet sitting business which she
ran alongside her work with Noel, looking after many of his patients who had undergone major
spinal, orthopaedic and often revolutionary surgery. All his patients flourished under her care
and were lucky enough to benefit from the very best in post-operative rehabilitation
available
She was then asked to design and set up a brand new
Rehabilitation Centre when Fitzpatrick Referrals relocated to its state-of-the-art multimillion
pound site in Eashing in 2006. She spent many happy years running the centre and looking after a
team of physiotherapists and hydrotherapists and liaising between the clinical and
rehabilitation teams at the time. She also set up and ran a dog boarding facility on the
premises which she ran for many years.
She then went on to
concentrate on running Pets from Vets full time, looking after many of the patients herself,
boarding dogs and cats in her own home and she now has a flourishing business and a genuinely
delightful team of carers whose dedication and commitment is second to
none.
